Cahoon Care’s professional care managers work closely with you and your family to find the best caregiver match to ensure satisfaction. Our goal is to create meaningful connections between clients and caregivers. We will customize a home care plan that includes scope of assistance, hours of service, and any specific care needs or desires. All our home care services on Cape Cod are personalized to fit your needs.
Our caregivers comprise highly skilled and experienced professionals, including CNAs and HHAs. Cahoon Care caregivers have an unparalleled passion for enriching the lives of others. Our vetting process includes a thorough screening and criminal background checks, previous work history verification, and professional references to verify the quality of the potential caregiver.
All our caregivers are Cahoon Care Associates employees, not independent contractors. We manage all scheduling, payroll, and taxes. Additionally, we are bonded and have general liability and workers’ compensation insurance for all caregivers, so you can feel secure welcoming our caregivers into your home.
Cahoon Care staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year for emergencies. Our team staffs the phone; we do not use an answering service. We take a proactive approach to your care management, routinely providing in-home checks so that our care managers are abreast of your changing needs. This creates a cohesive and consistent relationship between Cahoon Care, our caregivers, and you.
Cahoon Care Associates is certified by the Massachusetts Home Care Alliance (MHCA). This certification is only provided to home care agencies that have undergone extensive scrutiny by the Alliance and who comply with the MHCA’s standards for excellence in home care.
